We sat down with the incomparable, and indescribably beautiful Gaia - or you may know her as Mother Nature, or The Great Mother, and had a lovely conversation with her. Valkyrie and I sort of just wanted to get into her head, and see how she's feeling about the progression of things, whether or not Kai has surpassed her expectations or let her down, and what she sees happening in the future with humankind.

Dreamer Lake: Gaia, you bestowed upon Kai a great deal of power, and as we know absolute power can corrupt absolutely if the soul is not pure enough. Do you believe that Kai can handle it?

Gaia: If I did not believe he could achieve a great many things, I never would have entrusted him with helping to save my greatest creation, Human Beings. Dreamer Lake: One could argue, however, that Human Beings do not deserve to be saved, considering they have all but destroyed every gift you have given them. Why do you still feel as if they deserve to be forgiven?

Gaia: It is not my job to forgive, nor absolve. It is merely my job to create life, and to try to restore and keep balance. Dreamer Lake: That's a great point. Are you satisfied with Kai's behavior up to this point, or do you feel as if he could be doing something more proactive?

Gaia: Kai has an unbelievable amount of weight on his shoulders, and I expect him to stumble from time to time, but he will succeed. I believe fully in him, and those he puts his trust in. You must believe in him too, for that could aid him in his quests, and after all he is working to save a race to which you belong. Dreamer Lake: We appreciate you taking the time to sit down with us and answer our questions, we can only imagine how busy you must be.

Gaia: I am always with you. I am in the wind that caresses your skin, the leaves that rustle along the ground, the dew that kisses the plant life. I always have been, I always will be, and I never will be too busy for any of my creations. So, thank you - and please remember to help Kai and his people by sharing their story.
